Leon 184 weird feeling

ok so had the car a 64 plate with 68k on the clock so what’s happening is that there is a split second that the car looses power done at random speeds 40-60 mph driving it and you feel the car drop power and carry on nothing on the dash no warning lights...any ideas The place I bought it from say they have found no codes to look at so just wondering if it’s a problem coming

Mass air flow

Is a sensor on the air-intake , if faulty the air intake values are wrong which causes power to dip

Would the MAF be the most likely culprit on a 1.2 petrol also? My son's Leon does the stumble/power drop thing and it's a 2013, again no other faults or symptoms - it just hesitates for a fraction of a second then carries on as normal.
