Leon does well at Brands

A big well done to Paul Horton & Mark Cunningham, racing their SEAT Leon Cupra R in Production S1 at this weekends Britcar meet at Brands. The guys brought the car home 3rd in class 2 and 7th overall after 2 hours.

The car looked to handle brilliantly and was really rapid. It was a joy to see it passing a number of other cars like BMWs that you'd expect to be faster. Indeed the Leon's fastest lap was a 1:40.749, only 2 seconds under the winner's fastest lap, and quicker than most of the field.

Yes it was the GP Circuit.
The biggest shame of the race was we couldn't take advantage of doing the pit stop under the safety car (as the tank wouldn't last the 72 mins left in the race) otherwise a top 5 overall would have been poss.
well done again to Paul and Mark for another good drive

Yep, well done again boys and thats not just the drivers, well done to everyone involved in the car as endurance racing takes quite a team of people really.
You definitely know how to have eventful weekends with this car ;) broken gearbox, bonnet coming adrift, stop/go penalties???? what do you guys have in store for Donnington next time out?
