Leon FR TDI 170 "DOVE SOUND"

Not everyones taste but i wondered how to achieve the above sound.
As my fabia vrs1.9 130PD tdi had a cone filter and never achieved this sound

I've seen people fit a stupidly large bore straight through exhaust system and achieve the noise.
not my cup of tea.

Do you mean the hoover like sound of the turbo? The best way I can explain it

Straight through and DPF delete I would say.

Straight through exhaust! friend has it on his bora 1.9tdi so for you dpf delete and no exhaust boxes!

I dont think the 170 can do it only the 140's

i know i usually talk crap on here but if this is the owl/coo noise then the PD170 at least does not make this noise and im pretty sure the CR170 doesn't either... other dervs/older 1.9's etc no probs but I never experienced it on my FR's, regardless of the mapping or dpfs or anything

seen plenty of jetta's mk5's and so on with this and hate it. most of which are 140's im going de silencer soon and so hope it doesnt sound like that for my CR170

i was once told that a 3 stud turbo will def do it anything more and its not likely
