LEON FR TDI 184 Remap Advice

Hi everyone,

I have recently purchased a 184 FR and was wondering if many people have went for the stage 1 remap option. If so, could you please post your reviews below?

Also, have seen a few threads about tuning boxes, have had them in the past and have had bad experiences with them. Has anyone had both at some stage (remap & tuning box)? If so, which did you prefer?

Go for a remap where they actually dyno your car and customise it to you. I’m sure tuning boxes do increase power and torque but tricking the engine into giving more power doesn’t seem right to me. Worth the extra cash in my opinion.
