hello all :D

Want to do my bit for the enviroment (not) so thought I'd like a start/stop button so I could kill the engine at lights etc... maiight lokk cooll too! I've seen a number of Start buttons but none that claim they also stop the engine (leaving the ignition on I assume). Does anyone have one like this or konw where I can get one? cheers

Use the ignition key, it's already on the car ;)

Failing that you will need a button that as got two "switches" more hassle than it is worth imho, good luck.

thing is, you need to be stopped for a good while to make it worth while.
Im not so sure the starting system is that efficient either as its not designed for start stop technology.
So expect potential issues with battery power and extra wear on associated parts...

oh and it wont look so cool when the lights go green and your trying to start the car while others are stuck behind you.

surely just starting the car you have to prime it up etc
so would take a guess and say more fuel restarting all the time , plua what your wearing down quicker than normal woul dcost more to replace than any fuel saved stop starting
i,e alternator /starter etc
