So the Mrs needed a run around as a second car, so didnt want to spend a fortune, but she fancied a Leon. As its her 1st year of holding a full licence, insurance was an issue, ideally wanted a TDi but wasnt viable option insurance wise.
I came across this 1.6 petrol, full service history, full years MOT, mechanically excellent, interior like brand new, but cosmetically, bodywork rough, an old man had owned it, and dont think he really cared less what it looked like as long as it got him to Asda lol.

Managed to do a deal for what I thought was a very reasonable price, so the story begins .......

Only had it 2 days so far and the weather has been crap so basically havnt touched it yet, but have bought -

2 new wings
FR steering wheel (for feel not looks)
New number plates
Tailored Luxury Mats
18" wheels
Wheel Spacers/adapters

Still need to buy -

lowering springs
Honeycomb grille
Wind deflectors

First job is to have a look at the microswitch in passenger door lock as its not locking and interior light is staying on, soon as it stops raining long enough :/

Few pics as it came -
