    Hi Damian

I'm looking at your page for suspension as I'm looking to an upgrade. I am seeing there are many springs brands for my car model and I'm not familiar with them (AP, Apex, ST, Eibach).

I have a Leon 1.8 TSI 180 FR, 14 plate, 5 door. I am looking for improved ride quality above all else. Of the brands you stock, is there anything that would help with that criteria in particular? I do not want a harsh ride.

I also understand that the FR already comes 20 mm dropped, so for example if I buy a 30mm springs then I'd be in reality dropping an extra 10 and not the full 30 right?

I also see there are two Eibach spring sets and they differ from the front axle weight. Where do I find that info, is that in the manual, registration of the car?

    Thanks, let me know

    Guari

    Afternoon,

    Thanks for your post.

If you're running them with the standard dampers then I'd say the Eibach Pro springs will be your best option.

All lowering amounts are from standard spec so if you have the FR model you need to take off around 15-20mm.

The front axle weight will usually be found on a white sticker either in the boot or under the bonnet.

Damian, I took a picture of the white sticker and I can't understand; there's a lot of meaningless nubers and letter combinations.

I can send it to you via pm if it would help, or if you could let me know where I can decode this info.

I did go through the manual and for my model (5 door 1.8 180 auto) I find the following weights

    980 front

    920 rear

I guess those are the ones you need right?

    Morning,

Yes your front axle weight is 980kg and your rear is 920kg.
