Hi guys can any body tell me what the stock internals on my 2001 1.8t leon can handle (bhp) without uprating to forged parts.

i was speaking to a chap who told me they can go up to nearly 400bhp on stock internals, i find this very hard to believe this.

as far as i know, the leon cupra r internals can handle up to 350-360bhp before having to be uprated...dont know if the cupra 1.8t has exactly the same internals...iv heard the manifold is smaller which is restricting...

back draft motorsport do a turbo conversion that would take the car to 325bhp without having to change internals
