Liceo CD player

I've just bought a Liceo CD player off ebay, with code, but when it powers up, the display stays blank. CD eject mechanism works ok and the red lights ok, but no function or display. Is this a security mechanism like my Leon tape player where you have to leave it powered up for a fixed time before you can put the code in?

Oh....and is the face supposed to come off? Seems it has a removable face with a connector in the back????

Hello,
Once then correct code is entered it should work straight away, if the wrong code is entered it will display "SAFE".
The Liceo does not have a removable front, sounds too me like it may be broken?
I would get onto who ever you brought it from, and get a refund.

Hello guys, o bought a Seat Liceo although and it is happening the same thing , red light ok, cd engine working, no screen asking for the code, what should i do?, please help me with that.

i did it

We have to change theyellow cable to energy, because the radio is made in Argentina, so the pins in the backside of th radio are differente from the Europe format, if any one needs, i can send a foto with the connections.
