Light alignment

Well my light aligment is out of wack for some reason

what is the best way to solve this?
how would i go about identifying the problem?
is there any regualtion it should be sat at?
what is the best way to check it?

There is a regualtion, dunno what it is tho.
Drive up to a wall, turn your lights on,see where they point..
under the bonnet just behide you headlight is a little white cog looking thing. They are your adjusters.
Im sure if you went a garage they'd do it for you for nowt

Height is the main thing, you don't want the dipped lights shining higher than the light itself. Stick a mark on the wall at the height of your lights, and make sure the lights point under them.

As for left and right, there are regulations on where they need to point, and they are an MOT item, but as the machine said, they're pretty easy and alot of garages will do them for free or a few pennies at most.
