Loose interior door handle.

Hello. :)

I've tried searching the forums but I've had no luck.

Anyway, recently I had an electronics specialist replace the microswitch in my driver's side door which caused locking problems, no interior light, car locking itself after 20 seconds even if driver's door is open, etc.

But now, roughly a week after that, the interior door handle has become loose. There's a good 3-5 mm of play in it, and I'm curious - is there a way to fix it? I'm thinking the cable that links the lock mechanism to the interior handle might be a bit loose or something, but I'm not entirely sure.

Any ideas?

Its possible 1 or more of your door card clips have been broken by the sounds of it. I had the clips broken on both my doors "by techs" changing the door seals. The door clips are very week so I'm told easy fix though take it back let them do it

There are also a couple of screws in your handle check them to see if they are tight.

Probably the 2 screws in your handle. You need to prise the 2 halves of the handle apart to get to them. can be tricky but just keep working them apart a bit at a time.
