Loud turbo

Hi guys I've got a 07 2L tdi Leon 70k on the clock BRB engine code.
Pulled away from the house Saturday evening 1st gear fine 2nd gear she lost boost for a second an seemed to let out a slight thud then dump plenty of black smoke out regained boost an away she went again but now I've a very loud turbo whining. Car is boosting fine no more black smoke just very loud turbo. Any one experienced this before, before I start pulling her apart to get at the turbo

Just a whining noise gets louder as the boost builds up

whining is normal, might be worth getting an error tool to see if anything comes up

Yea get a video, if it's making the siren noise it could be about to explode on you.
