Hi girls and guys. I was just wondering what mpg you are getting with your 1.0 tsi 115 engines? It will be interesting to find out whether the DSG equipped cars are much better in real world driving compared with the manual cars.

I've got the 1.0 tsi 115 manual. Around town it varies, if there is quite a bit of traffic then I get between 35-40mpg but if its not too busy normally I average about 46mpg. Furthest I've driven is about 40 miles and I got 58.4mpg on that trip but it depends how you drive.

Had 1.0TSI DSG, London city, 35-45mpg (from heavy to light traffic). Extra urban (40-50mph) on quiet roads little traffic, can almost nudge 60mpg. (record was 64.6mpg). Once did London to Manchest doing 40-50mph in the first 30 mins and the rest 70mph ish with 2 big 50mph road works. I got 57mpg. It appears that the 95PS varient may just do a bit better (1-2) mpg wise.

Now with a Volvo, I get 25-30 mpg in city, and whereas once I could nudge 60+ mpg in the Seat, I can only nudge just below 48mpg.
