Manufactures opacity level

does anyone know where I can find the Manufactures opacity level, I’ve been told the hand book but cannot find anything???

Apparently it’s on the vin number/sticker

For anyone’s info if the emissions number is missing then the mot station have to revert to the government set levels, 3.0 opacity
