them pictures are well smart.

Thanks, I've been meaning to grab some photos there for a while :)

Now most of the good weather has finished, I've been thinking about my winter wheels and what colour to re paint them, my current thinking is a lighter shade of grey than my FR wheels were, as I've had a silly colour now, they will hide dirt better than silver and be a bit different from just black.

Got a bit of an urge to do some track days and after pricing up tyres, 16s are about £30-40 cheaper than 17s, so it would make sense to swap my FR wheels for some lightweight 16s but I'm unsure...

Just read through your whole thread

Very nice car mate, and some vary daring decisions (regarding the numerous front lips lol) Love the wheels too.

Definitely going to steal the number plate magnets idea ;)

Yeah never seen those wheels on an Ibiza before, look the tits. What offset are they btw? and how close are they to the brakes? I'm getting some Schmidt Modernlines and trying to work out it the offset will be okay to clear the 312mm's

:)

Et32 8" wide, needed 5mm spacers on the front to clear the 312s comfortably. I think that's more because the spokes on them are quite thick, as the standards wheels (et41 17x7) and steelies (et42 16x6.5) are fine without spacing. Rear is spaced 20mm for looks

Hmm okay cheers. Thee Schmidts are 16's and 7J fronts and 9J rears so the rears should sit nice as they are :) just worried about clearing the brakes up front as I dont know the offset :( lol. if the car sits anything like yours i'll be more than happy.

Bought some roof bars a few months ago with the intention of getting back into my jump/street biking, but I never got round to buying a bike carrier:

They did prove useful at the weekend though!

According to willtheyfit.com it's 3mm lower on these wheels... I'm pretty sure it's a touch more than that though, as it's started making a horrible "nails on a blackboard" esque scrape from right in the middle of my car if I drive into my flat's carpark at the wrong angle

Not much happening to the Ibiza, as I've been busy buying a house and getting engaged!

Getting on a bit now:

Replaced the lip with one from a Fabia as it kept getting bent back on dips in the road

Quite pleased with how it looks, similar to the garage door seal, but nice ABS plastic. Best part it was only £13 from the dealers [:)] credit to stealthrider for the idea

Went to Disneyland for New Year. Paint looked weird under the greeny yellow lighting outside the hotel:

Decided to drive into Paris on the way back:

A little miffed I messed this picture up, as I'd left the aperture too wide and in my haste to grab a shot from the middle of the road... as a policeman was coming towards me... while parked in a taxi rank... I focused in the "wrong" place:

Drove round the arc de triomphe, it wasn't as bad as people make out:

Fitted these at the weekend:
