Been kindly loaned a Forge MBC to see it help with my boost surge.
The car does boost to 21 psi but i'll set it lower than that to be safe.
Question is how many clicks is your's set too, as i want to get it roughly set up before i try it rather than spend ages on the road doing it.

it doesnt really work like that lee. you need the smaller spring fitted firstly.
then you need to drive the car, see what the car is boosting at, tighten or loosen it to suit. mine was setup on the rolling road.

Ok tried it and it holds the boost brilliant but it's too high i keep getting fault code (below) (I started it on 40 clicks)
LG is saying 17.8 psi so i'll wind it down a few clicks and keep trying.
I have left the N75 in the TIP and plugged in my spare N75 to the plug

No bypassing the n75
Yeah is mapped although you never liked the logs Bill.

I have blocked of the tip with a bolt and connected the MBC to the two hoses what attach to the n75.
I am getting no codes now and it holds 15 psi and no oscillating boost as per my last thread

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=331604&highlight=gauge

Am I safe in using one of these at 11 psi until i can get the funds and get to Bill?
