Hi, can somebody help me with locating part numbers for the Turbo Support Bracket and the bolt which hold the alloy turbo inlet pipe to the block please? I rung up the stealership and they couldn't help??

I have a PD160 Tdi Cupra

I just searched for TDI turbo support bracket and found the part being discussed on a VW forum. Then as RUM4MO says, double check it's correct for your car.

Is the engine code ALH? Do you need a 038145535C

Thanks but it looks different to the BUK engine code with PD160.

Although some of it is obscured it looks to me that it's a lot like the ...E support, which happens to be the one listed for your buk engine in the parts. reference. One side of the U-shape bolts to the block, the base extends outwards and then the other side of the U is the bub we can see in your picture.

Should I order the 038145535E then? Maybe that picture is showing the one for the ATD/ ASZ? Because it has 22 in brackets when you click on it..

Thank alexh! I believe that will be the correct part so I shall order it tomorrow along with the bolts :)

I can't believe the parts guy at the stealership directed me to the exhaust downpipe bracket with the rubber hangers

Good luck with it.

You could put some oil on the bolt threads and leave it to soak in while you're waiting for the part to arrive. That should to help you get them out more easily. Also running the engine to heat the block and exhaust can help with removal too, as long as you don't then burn your hands!

I think some high temp anti-seize is recommended for reassembly.

Thank you. I didn't need to remove it because it was missing completely from the car. I managed to fit it today :) it was too tight and the angle was off for the bolts to line up and bite the threads; However, a slight squeeze in a vice sorted it. Yay!
