I've spent far too long looking at this (but worry it's a mod I can't easily undo).

    Also, nice helmet!!

Like the helmet and I also think the skull would look good on your bonnet

Good skid lid. Colour scheme goes with the car.
Second skull if it were me.
Legojohn, is that your motor with the bonnet vents?
If so which vents are they?

If I'm correct the hood is by fibreworx, custom pieces by them. Looking to get a hood done by them soon for my Mk3 fr.

02/12/18 Track Day at Blyton Park, small track only 1 - 1/2 miles but its very good layout and lots of run off if you get over enthusiastic.

Top Speed achieved was 110 but its normally around the 90 mark.
    Max Oil temp was 118
MPG - 12 which is better than Bedford

I will put up some video's later

Car behaved very well and enjoyed the track very much

Did you notice any difference with the new brake ducts?

110 is plenty fast enough I think lol looking forward to some footage. See any other SEAT's there?

Yes I have seen an improvement in keeping the temps down, They still get hot but better than before.

Mainly Jap or Track cars no VAG on the track.

And as I am getting lazier by the day latest bit of tech to help out on track days and life in general.

Hand held battery powered pump or you can run it off the fag / usb plug in the car.

    Service Intervals for Modified Cars

For a stage 1 or 2 vehicles, Revo suggests that you maintain the same service schedule recommended by your vehicle’s manufacturer. Unlike standard air-filters that you replace aftermarket air-filters required routine cleaning in order to correctly function, this needs to be accounted for with your general servicing.

For stage 2+ and higher stage vehicles, Revo highly recommends reducing the service intervals. As you are running more power through the engine, wear is obviously going to increase.

Vehicle use-age has a big effect on general wear and tear. If you use your vehicle on the track or for long distance driving trips; it’s advised to do both pre and post inspection and fluid changes.

If you are running a TFSI with an uprated fuel pump, Revo recommends a visual inspection of the cam follower every 5000 miles or at the very least, adding it to your normal service schedule. For more details click here to see the HPFP technical page.

Spotted this again today so thought I would share on my build.

I think ITG do a cleaning kit. But when I asked Revo what I should do at service time last year. They replied: "We’ve never cleaned the filters on our own UK cars development cars, even after 3-4 years hard usage, they still perform perfectly, so unless it’s got particularly dirty it will be fine.". So I've just ignored the issue. LOL.

Grrr, if only I could build myself up to do the roller follower upgrade. Just had my cam follower done at exactly 5000. Only signs of wear were on the sides, coating was fully intact. So next time 10k. I'll try and add a photo to my readers ride when I can move my arms again (been working on Sealion 2 all weekend).

When I had both the Revo open cone filter and also the R600 (Which has an open cone kit inside the box) I purchased an online oil cleaner / replacement kit to clean out the air filter. Have to say it was a very easy job and whilst the filter is dirty I just did it because I bought them both second hand so did not know what sort of conditions they had been used in.

Oddly when i did the stage 3 I asked several people about service intervals and the response was stock was fine. I have always done it more often and this just confirms is better to do more often if you want longevity.

Oil and filter change it does not hurt to change them more often than standard keeps your engine healthy
