Yeh thanks mate

I googled these earlier on. As I said my garage seems to think that neither would have caused car to die.

Literally car gets dropped off tomorrow and I'm dreading the outcome as I don't think they have the enthusiasm for 1.8t anymore.

I bought a ton of new stuff that's sat in boot as well to get it to a mechanical sound level:

Coilpacks
MAF
New spark plugs
Cambelt
Oil/ fuel filter
Oil
Water methanol

Just oeeimg me off how now it seems I have a problem with the key fob and or battery. It's brand new.

Turning the ignition on with low battery voltage will set the Terminal 30 code, so you can ignore that.

As the garage said the O2 sensor won't cause it to cut out.

As the car is now running again, my money would be on the fuel pump or fuel pump relay. Both can fail and then start working again, both would obviously cause the car to cut-out, and neither of them would set a code.
