I have to say Bill the build quality looks superb! I so wish I hadn't wasted so much time messing around with the hybrid stuff and gone for a set up like that:( what angle is the hard pipe on the cold side?

45 degrees, and 100mm diameter like my ibiza one is.
no maf to worry about with it being on DTA-S60

Car now going to be getting a weld in cage done by us, so its spec is very much going to be to notch for track use when completed.

    long belated thread update.
One final tricky job I had to be honest been dreading... Squeazing in AP 4-pots with 305x28 2-piece disks under the customers 7x15 ET35 Pro Race 1 rims..

Well... with minimal changes to a previous 330x28 under 16" rims on the same VR6 hubs, the sample brkt from the 330's pre-modded for the smaller disks, was enough to give me the guide to update the dwg to make a proper pair for.

What gearbox is being used in this? Looks VW like I'm guessing 5 speed?

yep - 02A box in there, with quaife diff
yep, std throttle cable body on AGU inlet manifold (what it came in with)

Its not my money being spent on it.. and we are reusing FMIC which was already there etc, which was reworked for larger pipes, and retaining its throttle setup.

It will do the power.. (SEM is my preference of course) but thats a lot more work (££) to rework all the pipework, fmic etc etc

Bill do SEM do largeport inlet with passenger side TB? What's your opinion on Quaife vs Peloquin?

no, SEM only available in the left hand throttle position.
quaife vs peloquin... nothing in it, aside from I have heard of peloquin bolt/studs shearing previously.

lupo runs peloquin, i used to run quaifes.. both ok..

another option to consider is wavetrack

DTA is designed to be mappable.. I've been using DTA as standalone choice since 1997.
    more features available to me.

Also supports dbw with their new controller. (my ibiza runs S60 and their prototype controller)

Hmm, I've always liked the idea of standalone... Maybe at some point in thr future, we'll see.

Bill, you think you'll have issues like what im seeing regarding a possible air lock in the coolant in the feed/rerturn of the turbo because its above the header tank? Or dont you think it might not be an issue?

Phil, I was thinking about this the other day, and the secondary coolant pump sucks coolant through the turbo rather than pushing it, at least that's what I believe. Surely this means that it won't be an issue as it's pulling it from the block.
