MK3.5 Cupra engine tapping.

Hi guys, just want to ask if its normal to hear a tapping sound on the Cupra Mk3.5 engines ?

When you start the car from cold you can hear a slight tapping from the engine from inside the car and while you drive it slowly for the first minute or so, but when it warms up seems to quiten down. still hear a slight ticking but when the bonnet is up.

Its got around 20k on the clock and its a manual.

Just want to make sure before it runs out of warranty.

Have always thought it was strange but i had a full diagnostic run and no issues at all.

It is normal on the EA888 gen 3 engine, had it both on my GTI and Cupra.

Isn't that just the injectors ticking?
