Mk4 1.9tdi teething problems!

So I bought an 06 1.9tdi with 77000 miles on and it was immaculate, and upon inspection everything was in very good order!

However typically when you get it home and have it for more than 30 mins test drive you find things!

So turns out I have a coolant leak! Think I have found the culprit and it’s just a leaky hose by the looks of it!

Then the rear washer wasn’t spraying (common fault since reading this forum so thanks for your help on this already!!) and the front had little output but some! Turns out the rear hose had disconnected with the cold, and I had a split in the pipe where it goes into the bonnet! (Also common from what I read!)

Managed to fix both the front and rear (as per pics) so thanks for the previous threads!

Not sure about the coolant leak though and will see what the garage say! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Pic 5 bonnet pipe fix with right angle hose connector and self amalgamating tape (not pretty but did the job)

So as an update, turns out the leak is from the rubber hoses from the back of the heating matrix! Quoted £9 for one (part number 27 from the coolant diagram if that helps people) and £19 for the the other (part number 28) plus 1 hours labour and coolant! So just £90 which is a lot better than 1st thought!

So getting fixed on Thursday! Happy days!

Yes all fixed now and for stated price! So thankfully it was just the two hoses that needed replacing. Runs perfect now!
