Got a Seat Sport strut brace at the weekend and i would have to say that it has made a difference. I'd agree with the statement that the Mk4 must be inherently 'soft'. Just in normal driving i have noticed that the ride is a little bit harder but the suspension seems to be working fully now rather than the chassis soaking up the bumps.

I had a strut brace put on my old Impreza but i didn't notice a difference so took it off and sold it on.

i've put a superior and inferior strut brace on my mk4 TDI cupra, it's fabulous.

best feeling, best drive.

it's 100% good.

If you've got a tubro (when on mine anyway) and uprated to a forge DV then it nicely rattles against the strut brace, sounds like someone has thrown a spanner in your bonnet. Ended up putting some heat retarded foam around the strut brace where the dump valve is located.
