as title really! im looking for a new car to replace my yaris t sport and one of the cars on the list is the mk4 ibiza cupra!

ideally id love one in black (rash's old cupra got me loving them) but im finding it hard looking for one, seen a few in grey... but only seen pics of them standard.

id love to see how one looks slammed on coileys and maybe with spacers a bit like rash's..

anyone got pics?

cheers!

Mine's not a Cupra but it has the same bumpers. Smoothed rear bumper, Cupra front bumper, schlammed on coilovers, custom exhaust and a few other bits..

seen some pretty low mileage (about 40/50k) early models going for prices within my budget!

as you say though they are usually 2000 platers or maybe 2001.. they go for even less with higher miles, just concerned about buying a tt because of them seeming to have endless faults and electrical gremlins! :(

Fair enough, yea the power is nice...always brings a smile to your face, it will be a shame to let it go

My completely standard platinum grey one is for sale on pistonheads on the first page, cant link it though as i havent made enough posts

Theres a picture of a nice modified one on this site but i cant link the picture. Its in a thread called 'Opinion on white MK4 Biza Cupra rims!!' Has dark wheels and side skirts on it. Its what i wanted mine to look like.

whats the mark on the bumper like? from where you mention your fiance reversed into a wall ? (if thats the right car lol)

cheers for response guys.

*edit i just checked your advert again and can see the pic of it now didnt notice it last time - doh :p

the options are pretty much down to an ep3 civic type R, bmw 330ci sport coupe or ibiza cupra..

My mate has an EP3 Civic Type-R and we have been in each other's cars quite a bit. The ride is alot less crashy in the Civic and it sounds nice when VTEC kicks in but I still prefer my Cupra

You don't have to rev the hell out of the Cupra and the Type-Rs measly ~143 lb/ft of torque isn't very impressive. Peak power at 7,800 RPM won't do your MPG much good either! A re-mapped Cupra will blow them away trust me, and the brakes are better :)

Type-R handling is better IMO, if a little soft. Independant rear suspension is a good thing, the BMW will have multi-link suspension I suspect too.
