Mute Sat Nav Voice

Could you please tell me if it’s possible to mute the sat nav voice?

Yes, it should be in the nav settings. Mine don't voice at all, can't remember exactly where the settings are.

Think if you just adjust the volume setting to the lowest option this mutes all voice commands.

Yep just click setup when on the nav screen and there is an option to disable it.

Or alternatively, use the voice control and say 'stop navigation announcements', that's what I do

Thanks for all of your answers, I can go into the menu, but that seems a bit of a ‘faff’ & not easy while you are driving, also tried talking to it but it does’t seem to understand my accent! ;-)
Is there not just a simple mute button ‘hidden' somewhere?

Yes, whilst an announcement is being given by the sat nav, adjust the stereo volume either on the centre console or the steering wheel. When it is an announcement, it adjusts the sat nav voice, whereas when it is not making an announcement it adjusts the stereo. You just have to catch her whilst it is talking.
