Ive bought my Cupra 20vt 180bhp a few weeks ago and im loving it :D I no its not going to stay standard for long so i thought id start a thread and add some pics.
My previous car was an Astra coupe which i had for a few years i spent quite a bit of money on it engine conversion (2.0 turbo), bumpers, wheels, suspension etc and i was so pleased when it got featured in Total Vauxhall magazine [B)]

Very nice Mate!

Out of curiosity how does it feel compared to your old Astra given the latter cars modifications?

The Astra was alot quicker!! but was getting a bit old needed work doing to it turbo was on its way out etc I love the cupra because its newer and im looking forward to modding it.

The parts on the shopping list at the moment are coilovers, forge dump valve, forge tip, miltek turbo back exhaust and remap.
I gave the car a polish and wax and the paint come up really nice. Just need to get round to taking the wheels off and polishing the calipers they are looking a bit faded!!!

Here is a few pics of when i gave the Cupra a polish and wax. I used Auto glym ultra deep shine, it was the first time i have used it and was quite impressed with the results :D

I also bought a Halfords universal air filter sounds good can here the turbo spool up now. This will probably only be temporary till i get some more mods done then i will get a decent one.

I have done a few little mods over the last month so here are the progress pics.
I got myself a forge split R dump valve for a bit of extra noise. Doesnt make as much noise as i would like  but it will have to stay for the moment

I also got a debadged grill for the front to tidy it up a bit and got a set of new no.plates slightly smaller than the originals. I reckon they look alot better :D

Been busy this afternoon! After alot of debate decided to remove the rear wiper and while i was doing that i painted the rear badge in black to tidy up the back end a bit.

Removing the rear wiper was easy covered the hole with a blanking grommet from halfords and added a bit of selant so it wouldnt leak.

I removed the rear handle to paint it just to make life easier and so i wouldnt get overspray everywhere!!

Ive been looking at some new wheels i think the 17s look a bit small under those big arches i was looking at some BBS lm in 18s or some Porsche turbo rims. Will have to get my coilovers first get rid of the arch gap, i think the 18s might make the ride a bit too firm with coilovers.
