are you referring to were you plug phone in to stream music off your iphone? when I collected my car the sales guy paired up my phone to the media system for me so I can play my iTunes library in the car. mine has 2 cables in the glove box near the cd player that you can plug and charge I phone and other types of phone. think I might have been lucky and this may have been his spare cable

correct me if im wrong which I may well be but you may not need an aux cable for playing music off your phone, can all be done via Bluetooth if you have the tech pack/nav/media unit

You said that you had 2 cables when you collected your car. Is one of them these cables at the link below?

I'm thinking of trading my Scirocco in for one now as I saw a Lima green one in a local showroom today,it's a stunning colour and so close to the Sciroccos Viper green!!!

Before I had my Leon I want a Scirocco until I went and viewed one. I was surprised at the interior and how basic it looked in contrast to my ibiza? I think you will love the Leon and you do get a lot more car for your money too.

I need to take my car back into the garage. The indicator does not always switch off after straightening out the wheel. Still... Been waiting 2 weeks for a return call from the dealer to get something repaired already. Not great after sales.

Take it to a different dealer then. This isn't part of after sales any more, this is just a warranty claim. If your dealer doesn't want your business take it to someone who does.

They called today after I called them ha. I also noted to them regarding the mirrors auto folding when turned off and it doesn't do that either nor does it lower to the ground when reversing like I believe it is suppose to?

Literally just picked up my new Leon about an hour ago, drove it home and noticed my indicators never self-cancel after the turn if you push them all the way up/down. I assume they should? Never had a car where they didn't!

I think the mirror angling to the ground in reverse has been covered in a different thread, but they had issues with it so they stopped it in vehicles in build week 34 and newer or something like that. Chances are your car doesn't have it then.

they did stop it, don't know what week build mine was, reg date was 20-6-13, but has the tilt on the passenger mirror when reversing but the switch needs to be set on the passenger mirror. once you move the switch to the centre point the mirror reverts to its usual position

Ah thank you for that. Did not even think to search the forums for that particular thread. On the other hand I am taking the car in today for the indicator problem alongside some paint issues that I have with the car.

Yep, it's amazing what you can find if you use the forums search facility :) most people don't hence there's 50 million threads asking exactly the same thing about fitting HIDs into a mk2 leon or whatever!

As expected, my week 39 build Leon does not have the reverse mirror dip to kerb function, but I have found a tick box for "Fold in when parked" in the "Mirrors and wipers" section of Car set up on the Media System Plus screen, but even when I tick this feature, the mirrors don't fold automatically when switching off/leaving the car - The only way to make them fold is to operate the control on the driver's door or to hold the lock button down on the key for a few seconds after leaving and locking the car. Does anyone know how to make the automatic mirror folding option work, or is it linked to the officially missing reverse mirror dip to kerb function?

Auto folding requires you to hold the lock key for a few seconds according to the manual, so all is fine there

Yes this does work on a one-off basis - I.e. if you fold the mirrors with the key, then they automatically unfold as soon as you switch on the ignition, but they will not automatically fold again when you switch off the ignition and remove the key or when you just lock the car with the key normally. You still have to "manually" fold the mirrors again each time you exit the car by holding the key lock button down again for several seconds. In my opinion this is not truly operating as the "Fold in when parked" option which is apparently selectable in the Car set-up options. I think I may need to ask SEAT Customer Services, as the manual is not clear on this at all.
