Hi guys, was just wondering what sort of fuel consumpion people are getting from there Cupras. Pick mine up shortly and i'll be making a 300 mile journey to see the family, just worried I may have to fuel up twice to make it haha or am I wrong? (I hope im wrong!)

300 miles is easy doable on a full tank and cruising speeds.

On a weekly commute we’d get 280-300 in the 280 with the starting from cold, slow traffic etc. But a long drive to Yeovil or Norwich it would push close to 400.

The Carbon 4drive however is more like 350 on a big drive.

I did almost exactly the same with my new 4drive over Christmas. Milton Keynes to Cumbria and back when it was 2 weeks old. I squeezed 400 miles out of one tank.

Yeah long journeys on the MW don’t seem bad at all. Local commute and daily commute however is another story.

7th gear is a big help too.

I'm managing just over 30 on the daily commute. It's only 10 miles each way so I'm pretty impressed really. Better than the TT it replaced anyway!

There is only 1 factor you need to consider when wondering if MPG will mean you have to fill up....

Who else is in you car :drive2:

Grew up there and parents still live there.

It's normally easier to say "Lake District" to southerners!
