N249 Location

Ive searched and found nothing, hence the new thread.

Can anyone tell me the location of the N249 valve please, beezersport is gonna have a look on his but i cant see sweet F A!

Its an LC to be clear,

Ive tried following the pipe that leads to the top of the DV but it gets lost and i cant see where it goes

well mine's an LCR but it was under the engine cover.

unplugged !!

here's a pic, before i plugged it back in, and beezersport cleared the fault code :)

an LC hasnt got it ontop of the block. Its just the VAC reservoir. Ive been told its under the other removable engine cover by he dipstick but theres a few things under there with pipes and what not

The location of the N112 and N249 is as follows:

Under the second removable engine cover there is a metal plate with two nuts holding one pipe on and on the front one nut holding another pipe.
There are two allen bolts holding it onto the engine. They are a ******* to remove
Then under this is the N112 (on the left) and the N249 (in the middle)
The part number is 078 906 283 A and is £52 from stealers
Its held on by a rubber mount and is a right ass to get off

Its called a "solenoid changeover valve" to SEAT

So there you go, all the info on where it is and how much for the LC!
