need help from sum1 in STOKE!!!

Ok here is the prob i have been given a cd changer out of a 04 leon which i know worked ok however when my mate give it to me and i plugged it all in, the cd changer sounds really fuzzy . I just need a kind soul from stoke to try it in his/hers leon see if the changer works ok in your car.
