cheers bud, where bouts in b'ham you from then? my car is being resprayed at the moment so when i get it back (7-10 days) i will be fitting my bucket seats. and will need to turn off the side airbags.

it's easy to do. just login to the controller (i've yet to be brave & sit in teh car when I've done it) and change the adaptation settings for whichever you want to turn off.

taught you just clear the fault code and the light disapears :confused: what adaptaion value are availbe and what to choose. cant be difficult, done more complex stuff with vag :D

if the airbag is no longer there, then the light will show, and the fault code will not be there

change a 1 to a 0, or vice versa for each 'bag
