    I've got a FR that will be running similar power when mapped, interested in your posts about the induction, I currently have twin take system, could you explain what gains and benefits you had fitting the revo pipe over the twintake please

    And a quick question about the wmi, with the quantum stuff are you finding that works well? And do you put it in neat or mix with water??

    neat is how I am using it.
    been using it for a few months now..
    no checked valves for cleanliness.. I might get time this week to have a butchers..
    only needed to top up once so far. It does'nt guzzle it.

    fitted CTS charge outlet pipe
    added some preload to actuator..

    Zero power/torque gains.. lol
    faster spool from actuator additional preload tho.

    stage 2 revo is whats holding it back, but that said, the tfsi dyno day yesterday revealed its performing better than most tfsi's so it aint all bad. 365bhp currently

    no time to play with it currently. workshop & yard full and I mean FULL of customer cars which need to be done and shifted

    kev confirmed again today.

    from the stage 2+ revos of yesterday my settings vs requested boost are lower than theirs.

    I know my code was a fair bit out of date, when Awesome changed back to APR, I didn't bother switching again, got a bit fed up of the musical chairs. :rolleyes:

    It was my intention to either get over to see Kev or use another Revo dealer but having the available time got in the way of me doing it, and I wasn't unhappy with the way the car was performing anyway so felt no desperate rush to get it updated.

    All academic now anyway, as Bill will likely focus on doing his own mapping to it, as and when he gets time. Be interesting to see how it goes on from here, because the fact its running lesser code than I thought it did all the time I owned it, it was always a strong performer. I ran it very much as Bill does now, never turned everything up to full, and was often in the top performing TFSI's at most events I took it too.

    its running very well.. credit to your work in the main Z :thumbup:

    My judge on what these can do is based on the same wheels in the k04-02x hybrids on 1.8t....

    Ace car was sad to see it go but your only improving it, trouble I have found in the mod market is you can put your faith sometimes naively in products that are not really fully tested. In effect were the alpha testers for many tuning products out there.

    You have already made several improvements in terms of the running of the car that I didn't even realise were causing any problems such as the leaky intake. They are such technical engines these days, the new 1.8 tsi in my new car looks even more complex.

    I enjoyed my experience with the Mk2, and where I got to with it, I'm fascinated to see how it develops. But speaking personally I think my modding days are behind me now. I'd rather see how others get on with it. :D

    hi bill,did you ever get the name for the stuff you used to seal under your scuttle panel the stuff you call gorilla snot.
    also is it still holding up and not leaking in any way on to the engine?
