vicky the 8500k and 10000k dont beam as far, natural sunlight is approx 5000k after that (the higher kelvin you go) the absolute distance the beam travels gets shorter so although having virtually purple lights look different, they are actually less safe for unlit road driving.
as my sig says, ive gone for the 6500k.

unless they are something special mate they seem expensive, most of the sets on ebay are fine and getting less than a ton these days.
mine were sourced via a dealer on ebay and they are 100%

i've just changed from 6000k to 8500k, tbh, there ain't much difference really???

should have gone for the 10000k, they've got a purple hint to them, nice

oem HID's are about 4300k so the best u can get is the closer to that number i would never fit 8500k or above :D
6000k is really the best match you can get and i had the car MOT tested today to see if the lights where legal and it passed on the lights no problems so im happy:D
