hi guys

i've owned my silver 280bhp porsche wheeled cupra (formally JJ_arosa) for around 6 months now and it's time for a new clutch....

am i right in saying i need the 2.8 golf vr6 clutch???

Is this the right one

http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/V...c537f0c977859447b78f18b900cfa3f4a6b115dc&CLUK

And also i've been told i will need 8 vr6 fly wheel bolts aswell as the old ones can't be reused when they've been taking off is this right??

And will i need any other parts for changing the clutch etc

many thanks

ive already got the fly wheel on there buddy.... :p

just need a new clutch as it's slipping...

so thats definitly the clutch.... so if i already have the flywheel on there will i still need the flywheel bolts as i've been told that they have to come off to change the clutch and can't be reused???

Is there anything else i need??? release bearing or anything??

You can see the release bearing in the picture there, it's part of the kit. I'm not sure if the flywheel needs to come off to change the clutch. You will need the pressure plate bolts, and be aswell getting flywheel bolts while your there.

You might need a master cylinder as well. Some people do it as piece of mind, some people don't. Just if it goes then you will have to get the gearbox off again.

The clutch kit is correct & comes with new release bearing.

These are the bolts you need from VAG (you probably have one set already since you have the flywheel, but not sure which one it is):

N10 101 001 x 6
N90 206 103 x 6

Isnt the one on the clutch side the slave cylinder?

I have the bolts. Part numbers are N10117405 x6 and N10101001 x6.

If you buy them off me that would be greatly appreciated as I bought them recently and have no use for them...
