Mines the same - 700 miles, similar (slightly longer journey type - 7 or 8 miles on dial carriageway but with roundabouts every mile or two) and I've just got it up to 27.5. 95 or 98 octane fuel doesn't seem to make much difference to either performance or consumption either...
Mine has actually improved since a stage 1 map!
I cant really count blasting about when I might only get 19 mpg, but on a recent 300 mile motorway trudge with cruise control set at 79 mph, I managed 36mpg which I was very happy with
Hi Guys i have covered 6500 miles since October in my cupra 300 dsg love it mixed driving i average about 31/34mpg around town/country
on a run i have seen 44/46 @60-65mph which i think is very good for this type of car run mine on momentum 99 or shell v-power
cheers all
Well impressed - 34mpg on a 120miles motorway cruise at 74mph...... (with a few 'manoeuvres')
Car only has 1200mls in and on standard fuel too, so hopefully see a wee bit more in the future.
Will be fine to offset the 21mpg daily commute.
Cupra 300, done only 850 miles
- short 6 miles city trip in London 22-24 mpg
- blast in yorkshire's a/b roads, high 20 mpg
- drive back to london, cruise set to 65-70: 40 mpg
