I thought the only cars (or atleast used to be the case) with different driving modes were the cars with 180 ps or higher.

Ie:
1.8 TSI
2.0 TDI
2.0 TSI (cupra)

If that is still the case, if the car is a 1.4, it likely wont have the different dirving modes.

First post but been lurking for a few months... Collected our Leon ST Xcellence Lux mid July and despite having the 2.0 Tsi (190ps / 7 speed DSG) it doesn't have the drive modes, just sport on the DSG. From memory the when looking at the range the FR Sport and the FR had the drive modes but not the Xcellence Lux.

Guess its one of those specs aimed more at tech / creature comforts rather than outright performance but with the 2.0Tsi its something of an odd combination as it has the highest (non Cupra) power, multi-link instead of beam rear suspension but no drive modes - although a bit academic now that engine has been discontinued lol.
