Hey folks,

Just bought a 2009 FR TFSI with the BTCC kit on. 60k on the clock, standard car.

Looking forward to having a good read through the forums seeing what mods people go for. I'm new to the Seat/ VAG world so no clue who sells after market parts for these cars.

I tried to post an image of my car but apparently I have to post 15 times before I can post links

Cheers mate. Took mine for a good drive today. Best to learn how drives before modding I always think. One thing that did stand out for me was just how quiet it was when you put your foot down. That'll definitely need changing, there's no theatrics at all. Big let down considering it's a 2.0l turbo and has twin tail pipes. To start I'll mainly do a couple of cosmetic tweaks.

What mods you done?

Welcome mate.

Just got my 2010 FR on Wednesday - loving it.

No planned mods or anything as of yet either until I do more research!

Enjoy it pal.

Well quite a few since December.

Like you I found the sound very quiet for a sporty car.

I fitted 3" downpipe and decat
I matted it to a de res miltek centre section and miltek back box. Much better
For induction I have a forge twin take
I have also fitted FK coilovers
A badgeless front grill
Been messing with VCDS and stiffened up steering which is cool
Fitted a RNS510 sat nav and loaded new F/W and maps, although have battery drain now so about to fix that.
Currently customising dash trim set
Also a bit of tidying up and cleaning

Few pics

Welcome to the forum mate! I've only been here a few weeks myself as I bought an 07 Cupra TFSI a few weeks back.

What I would suggest is take a few months to learn the car properly as it is stock before you make modifications. That's just my personal opinion and what I'm doing that way you can be ready for any modifications you make (particularly performance modifications).

REVO are on the forum too they have their own section if you want any performance upgrades or ECU tuning.
