Bill just to let you know I think the DA-031 pumps have changed slightly I have had to use two copper washers, your one and the one that came with it as the internal thread doesn't seem as deep as the new fittings thread so not wanting to damage anything I've used two washers on the smaller of the two fittings

If you compare your picture at the top of your thread you can see the change in height of the thread your pic has the the thread go above the terminals in mine it's level.

I run the feed for the aux pump off the intank pump, which if you mount it where I do (where the filter lives) its very close to the pump you need to splice into for power.
relocate fuel filter, using ibiza smaller one, into engine bay then

    my preferred method anyhows.

    Bill,

Do you know the part number of the smaller Ibiza fuel filter for the relocation to the engine bay?

    Bill,

I am just about to go at this install, i rather not relocate a fuel filter to the engine bay,(i know the mk3 filter is tiny, just seems wrong to me)

Would there be any issue with installing the filter a few inches after the pump on the under carriage of the car, not far off the OE install location was?

Nothing functionally different no, but I would be more worried putting there than up front... where its not going to be hit by road debris. Will the filter have space to fit where you want to put it, without sticking out too low?

    Bill,

I cannot see where to run the power feed from the underside of the car into where the pump lives, any pointers would be great.
