Pretty sure you can get a wire up where the fuel feed line goes above the tank, it's tight might need something to feed it up there with. Connects to the pump underneath the rear seats.

Cheers James, i'll tie a string to one of the fuel feeds, pull it down and then fish the power cable back up with it, its a balls to do when working on a jacked up car, room is tight, i just thought from talking with Bill there was a more convienent way to wire it up, i must have picked him up wrong.

Right folks, for any of you wondering how to route the cable to the Aux pump, here's how i did it.

Just to the rear of where you mount the inline pump there is a grommet(just before the rear bush), remove this, pinch a hole in it and fish the cable up into the cabin as below.

Might save you some time farting around under there.

    Brown wire is ground ;)

Just need to tidy up/secure the cabling and install the filter tomorrow :)

P.S sorry for the $hitty pics, but you get the idea.

Have you had any issues with the external pump draining the intank pump due to the additional flow?

    nope
should'nt be possible. unless the intank pump is on its last legs..

inline pump is no substitute for a dying in tank pump

these fittings are for 1.8t lines rob.. which are 8mm ID
these are made to click into factory line end fittings where fuel filter normally lives..

For pumps with M18 inlet and M12 outlet threads.

Ah, right, thinking of using an 044 for my car, probably overkill but most smaller pumps are rated to 250hp which is marginal, need 12mm inlet to pump (my tank is 12mm outlet) and 8mm outlet (to tie into factory hard lines under car), think have tracked some down on Ebay now - GpA cossie sierra uses 12mm inlet and 8mm banjo outlet

the M12/M18 is 044 threads.. I use 2 of them on badgerwagen + intank
On mine I use -8 lines, and used speedflow An fittings and hose tails to join it up
