    I am a little confused.

In terms of optimum flow an engineer would always tell you that a smooth diameter transition over longest possible path would give better results over a big diameter which is then abruptly reduced within a few cm to the small diameter.

I would see a benefit for a constant 80mm inlet if the turbo itself also had a 80mm inlet (like some compressor housings with MWE design) but with stock turbo and ~55mm inlet diameter I would rather have a smooth transition from 80-55 over long path.

Bill can you backup the benefits with hard data?

(Always interested because theory and real world often differ massivly ^^ )

    BR

The billet has been through 2 main incarnations... with the current one (some year + now) is longer taper transition, which yielded improved mid range torque, but not change in peak figures.

What you say is correct, but also subject to being able to actually fit it to a vehicle which has other components obstructing available space.

Inlet is not 55mm btw on a k04. smaller than that

the product is beyond proven... many 100's of these active on customer cars these past 2-3 years now. All proving and giving gains over std and other non large bore tips

there is no need.. they are correct

They come normally with clips.. There is a no-clip price also, but no one orders them without clips

maybe you are forgetting the 20% vat? It is mentioned on the first post

I've bought a badger5 tip, but I've found out it doesn't come with the adaptor to go onto a k04 turbo.

    Are these available separately!?

The car is an 05 bam leon cupra R.

    Thanks in advance..

    No, not from yourself.

To be honest, it was bought on a whim and I didn't know it was until the seller said when I picked it up.

I'll get a photo up to show you, and to confirm..
