Hope my black one is in there somewhere ;-)
Do you have a fitted pic mate???
I have the standard airbox but you say you can do a deal with induction kit added into the price.
not got a pic.. sorry.. (surprisingly as I take pictures of almost everything)
quote received from a happy TT owner off the TTOC forum
Bill, I get a bit of a squeal from my turbo and hesitation at around 3k rpm, which I think you previously described as cavitation. Do you think your tip will solve this?
Revo stage 1 on standard tip and air box by the way
hesitation is not normal, cavitation on aggressive maps is quite common.. and will reduce/eliminate when the air can be delivered thru a lossless TIP like this.
it *may* help, but hesitation is not normal... something else is likely amiss. (N75 for example perhaps)
Didn't do it on the standard map and not getting any fault.codes. Would n75 give a code?
std map is'nt that relevant... as you will be running over double the std boost when mapped..
unless n75 is electrically disconnected it wont throw a code no...
air leaks on pipes... also something to check..
Thanks Bill, think I'll get a new n75 today

Well got my new 80mm TIP fitted last thursday (thanks to bill and i believe martin, sorry if ive got his name wrong lol).
The TIP is a massive improvement over my old SFS TIP. Car pulls from 2500rpm all the way upto 6500rpm, it still wants to carry on going but obviuosly ive still got the limiter at standard.
The install wasnt as straight forward as i hoped but i do have a APY engine s3 thats running a DV relocation kit and a atmospheric catch can.
I had to buy a extra length of 25mm silicone to allow me to fit the TIP properly as the old 25mm length was causing the TIP to cave in on itself.
Ill post pics tomorrow peeps.
tip is for esp cars, or non esp with some extra pipes....
dv relocation is up to the user. the tip is as std in fitment and outlets by design. but a lot phatter - lol
pix would be great
did you get any logs before/after?
bill is there any point changing the 3" tip to this one will i see any major benefits or is just convenience in the design
its larger bore, no joins in the pipe.. and can flow a little more..
highest gain reported back thus far being 20g/s gain over a normal silicon TIP and BMC CDA, to the 80mm TIP and JR - thats slightly higher than I have ever seen the 3" one
I would not expect a step change in performance from 3" to the 80mm
It will flow a little more.. but whether you would notice it in real terms I doubt.
Blue from stock. black and red sold out again. Backorders being taken to secure one from next batch due 3/4 weeks
