for those who ask "will this fit onto std airbox"
    YES - with suitable trimming

More Power gains to be had from combining JR filter with the new TIP tho

I've noticed that a few have an extra piece of silicone piping after the tip to hold the filter out. Does yours come extra with this and if not is it really needed?

Its an optional extra for those who want to push the filter closer to the cold air feeds by the inner wing. Price is listed in the JR filters sticky section

Has any mated one of these to a SFS 3" TIP? Just wanted to check it would fit before i place an order.

Im looking at the following set up:

    JR Blue Jetex Cones:
    80mm neck - £45
Optional to push filter nearer inner wing:
    80mm silicon coupler - £5.09
    80mm Alloy Coupler - £7.71
    hose clips - £1.82/each
    Heatshield - £29

the prices you have pasted are subject to vat remember

You would need to ask SFS re fitment.

If its made to fit std airbox it should fit with the above listed parts also

little sneak peak of an 80mm TIP working well, increasing power and torque everywhere. Zero losses against the normal silicon tip on the car previously.. just gains everywhere ;)

Unlike some BS mis-information spread by some folks who are comparing Apples and Pears..

    3" aint 80mm :p 23% Larger Cross Sectional Area on V2 80mm B5 TIP over and above 3" TIP :D

    Revo1 before on silicon TIP/Neuspeed filter B7t4, Revo2 after with 80mm V2 B5 TIP/JR B8t5
