Just a real quick post to share my delight so far in the car mentioned.
I had my eye on it a while and i believe the only reason it wasn't sold quicker was due to the colour....Yellow
It was owned by a member on here before he sold it on.
I wasn't too keen on the colour myself but it has grown on me.
The car is well spec'd and with a stage 1 tune, surprisingly quick too which is a bonus.
However, within my month of owning it, I've made several visual improvements which i believe enhance the already understated looks.
Fitted -
New grille
Bbs ch alloy wheels
Ram air induction kit
Suspension from Mk6 Golf r (as of today but front shocks, rattles over uneven surface, rears spot on)
In the pipeline -
S3 calipers & discs
Quad box Inc 3" pipe exhaust
Rad, Turbo, down pipe
Stage 3 tune (mrc)
Hpfp
Head unit, speaker and sub upgrade
Window & light Tints
Zenon bulbs full frontal ( H1,H4,H7 inc fog light)
If i keep the car longer than expected -
Auto box transplant (a definite possibility)
Feel free to input anything i may have missed. This will be my everyday car for work so trying to keep it sleeper mode....hard to do in that colour
