Newbie: Update Sat Nav 2.2?

Hi guys,

New round here, so hopefully I'm not asking a really stupid question.

Got myself a 2012 SE Copa, was wondering how I go about updating the Sat Nav to the latest maps? I don't actually know if there's any available or anything at this stage but I assume there will be at some point so I should learn how to do it! I imagine you can download them from somewhere and stick them on SD Card or CD? Any instructions guys?

Cheers...loving my Leon so far as a convert from the blue oval dark side.

2012 update is available you need to figure out what version of maps you have got

RNS510 and RNS315 require you to buy the updates direct from VWAG costing around £150

RNS310 can be downloaded ;)

Thanks for the reply!

£150 :-o Lets hope I have RNS310!! How do I go about finding out? Had a quick flick through some screens in the car this morning but I couldn't see anything that might tell me what version it is. Only thing I could see was something that told me I had "Western Europe 0038" maps.

If its the standard one that came with the car it will be a 315, but it should have the latest maps anyway

It is the standard one that came with the car.

Guess I'll leave it then for £150!!

sat nav western 0038

Did you by any chance update the sat nav?

Does anyone know how to update RNS315 without going through main deal?
