Hi all,

Thanks to everyone for the sympathetic messages. Not what you want but I suppose these things happen!

Anyways, quick update... Ended up getting it repaired from a guy called Phil Bell in Northallerton as it was only 2 minutes from where I work so nice and convenient, along with doing a good job on my gf's mini. Picked it up last night and from looking at it this morning he's done a very good job. Here's some pics of the final repair job....

wow, thats a really good fix :) how much did it cost if you dont mind me asking?

Was really pleased with it :)

Cost me £100 to get done, which I didn't think was too bad as it required the re-spray of the whole panel. He's only early 30's but rents a small unit on an industrial estate and gets business on reputation rather than advertising as you wont find him in the yellow pages, google search etc.

Delighted it's fixed Karl :) Next job is to apply some wax to it as the car was detailed a couple of months ago.
