Ouch soz to hear that mate. Thats the trouble with turbos, the RPM's are so high that they only need to spin up once with low/no oil pressure and thats enough to kill them.

Jus got one problem tho when the car has warmed up and the idle needle is at 90 it's start to go back down to 60 when I start to throttle the car but when it's stationary the heat needle goes bck to 90

Glad to hear that it's ok now mate, the symptoms you describe are classic thermostat, they fail all the time on these engines. Luckily they usually they fail open like yours has so the car underheats rather than overheating.

Thermostat, do I need to replace that or has the engine gone because it's quite annoying when I'm driving on the motorway and I have to pull up in the service station all the time

Yeah you just replace it mate, bout £10 easy enough to do if a bit fiddly. It bolts to the engine block where the coolant hose goes in to the block. It's kind of behind and to the right of the alternator. 2 allen key bolts.

Hi buddy, sorry to hear about your issues. If the pick up is new, then either you have a fault with the oil pressure switch/wiring or you have a problem with the oil pump or worn bearings.

I would change the oil pressure switch and then go from there. I'm pretty sure it's next to the oil filter from memory.

If the light is still coming on when the switch is replaced and the wiring checked, then you need to get the oil pressure checked to see if it's low.
