Oil warning light

Bit off a daft question but I'll ask it anyway ibiza 100pd 02

After resetting the service warning yesterday and it stopped flashing after start up

then this afternoon the oil warning light coming on, do I now need to reset this or is there a low level warning indicator?

this is low oil level and or pressure , have u checked the oil level ,make sure car is cold and level to get a proper reading , oil lights should scare u

arrrhhh

had a quick check and oil is on the level, but last week when the cam belt was replaced approx 2 litres had to be added to get it to the correcy level

so some damage could be done, anyhow I reset the warning as I did with the service warning, will see how it goes

i dunno , if its at the correct level could be an electrical gremlin etc , y did u lose 2litres doin cambelt

Do you mean the oil warning *light* is coming on, or the word "oil" is appearing in the LCD display which shows up when the car thinks an oil change is due ?

oh right, its just the word oil that appears so I'll get the oil changed
