They do seem a bit on the expensive side actually! My LCR is 6 months older than the third car listed there, with lower mileage, but was £2300 cheaper!

I paid £10200 for my standard LCR 210 through a dealer, so had a years tax, new MOT and a years warranty.

Go for it Pete - you know it makes sense. ;)

I think the Passat looks nice, to me it's a bit more classy than what I am used to driving and with sports suspension it handles very well for a big car.

I'm going to enjoy throwing it about and after a remap it may scare a few hot hatch's too ;)

Oh and I was right!, you wouldn;t be happy in the FR hence the change to the Cupra :p

Ask mike_ibiza_ cupra if he thought mine stuck to the road well enough last night :) You're gonna have to get up and have a go in someones to really decide - words on a screen or other peoples opinions are never going to convince as what is 'right' for one may well be truly DIRE for someone else.

Are you looking for reasons to buy an LCR or for reasons to buy something else ;)

Hense the reason for this thread... ;)

Niether. I'm trying to decide what to get next, and the LCR may be on the list if my previous greavence can be sorted out easily. As I've said in this thread I have a range of possible cars, I'm trying to decide which I'll be happy with :)

In that case get out and drive a few Leons that have had the suspension done, also try and drive a mix of cars that have had either Coilies, Konis, Eibachs etc ... different makes / thickness of front and / or rear ARB etc.

From my own POV, i felt that ALL the other suspension changes i'd done weren't fully useable until i got the uprated ARB fitted at the front and rear.

Thanks for the info on that goes to Ruddmeister :)

Yeah that's why I put the thread up, to see if I could find people willing to meet up with me. Not many meets round Reading at the minute. At least my plate is off the Ibiza now, so as soon as the DVLA send me the updated V5 the swap will happen ASAP. :D
