Ok so i started my car up two days ago and the coil light started flashing, The traction control light come on and the tyre preasure light cam on.

I have had the car scanned and it has returned error code

P0641 Sensor referential voltage A - Interruption in electric circuit - x3

Engine;
Trouble code 4123 - Sensor referential voltage A - Interruption in electric circuit

ABS;
Trouble code 1314

I had take the car to a VAG specialist today who said they have cleaned of the connections around the ECU and tested the alternator and stuff and they cant seem to figure out where this error is coming from, he also called a few of his other garage friends who have said the same, they haven't seen this issue before.

so before i got to the main stealers i though i best ask has anyone else had this issue before? or can shead any light?

I thought if the car detected an ABS issue, it disabled things like traction control (as it can't determine wheel speed). First place I'd probably look is checking all four wheel speed sensors. What car is it? Is it manual or DSG?

sounds daft but try turning your steering wheel from lock to lock. this reset some of my lights on my MX5 after it sat for a while

Thanks Gordon, i will give this a try, anything to avoid the £72 per hour the VAG specialist is going to be charging me :headhurt:

You do not say if the warning lights go out if you drive a few hundred metres ? With my old Touran those lights would come on if the battery was disconnected and reconnected. A short trip and a recalibration would take place and the lights would go out until the next battery disconnection.

How old is the battery ? How clean are the battery terminals ?

no the lights dont go out unfortunately, i have tried to clear the codes using VAG but they come back, also tried to disconnect the battery for 30 mins but they still come back, even tried driving it a little but still no joy.

Terminals are really clean, not sure on age of battery tbh as only had the vehicle 2 months

*UPDATE

ok so i dropped the car off with the VAG specialist yesterday, they did and advanced diagnostics, they check all the sensors which have illuminated on the dashboard of which all returned the correct 5v, at this point they were scratching their head and were thinking this could either be a break in one of the wires going to the loom or a bad ECU, so they forced clear the codes and turned all the lights off on the dash.

As they were about to put the car in the car park "BING" all the lights come back on, so they made the decision to stay behind after work and try and find this fault, he decided to strip some of the wires leading to the loom and found no broken wires, upon checking he found that the throttle body was not closing fully, so he manually checked the throttle body and found that when he done this and cleared all the codes they would stay off, so he has come to the conclusion that the throttle body is faulty, we are going ahead with replacing this, the mechanic is confident that this is what is causing the issue but can not be 100% until it is changed and then driven for a while so fingers crossed.

RESOLVED*

got the car back today, basically because the throttle body wasn't closing properly it was suck extra power from the other sensors of which was causing the lights to appear on the dash board and present error code P0641, garage replaced throttle body and now no lights on the dash board, hope this helps.
