...with the spare key?

Apologies if this is a dumb question but is this possible?

The spare is standard with no remote capabilities. The car was de-locked when I bought it and I had a thought the other day:

What if I lost the remote key, how would I get into the car?

The only option I have found is to go through the boot but this doesn't deactivate the alarm.

I gingerly tried to pry off the section where the lock should be in the drivers door but it didn't want to budge and
I didn't want to start pulling pieces off the car without asking you guys first.

Any suggestions welcome :wtf:

If it has an immobiliser chip in it then turning on the ignition will stop the alarm. My unlock button isnt working on my key at the moment, so i gotta unlock the door using the key then make sure I put the ignition on within 20 seconds or the alarm will go off.

Same will apply with you getting in through the boot, but I presume the alarm will be going off while you scramble to get the ignition on!

I was struggling to open my leon mk1 with the spare key without setting the alarm off, however if you turn it left (locking it for a 2nd time) before opening you can disable the alarm - the led at the top of the door will stop flashing when the alarm has been disabled.
